Parking Options and Costs

During the academic year, campus parking regulations are enforced Monday-Friday, 7am-10pm and during special events. Please do not park in spaces restricted for specific vehicles/permits, and review the parking options below to ensure an effortless and pleasant visit.

From Hilgard Lane, turn left to enter the Gateway Parking Structure and choose one of the following 2 parking options:

  1. Option 1: Pull up to the yellow or blue permit dispenser located at the entrance if you wish to purchase a Visitor permit using a Visa/MasterCard. The yellow permit dispenser provides an all-day permit for $9 and the blue permit dispenser provides a 4-hour permit for $4.50 (please note that the 4-hour permit is not available during special events when attendants are present). After purchasing the permit, drive up the ramp to park in an available Visitor or C permit space. Display the permit face up on the driver’s side dashboard before leaving your vehicle. (If you purchase a permit and find that the parking structure is full, you may exit the structure and use your permit to park in the surface lots in any Visitor or C permit parking space.)

  2. Option 2: Drive past the yellow and blue permit dispensers and immediately turn left to locate the 2-hour meters, available for short-term parking at a cost of $1.50/hour (the meters accept dimes and quarters only).

Note: If your vehicle displays a disabled person’s placard/plate, you may park in any disabled space without purchasing an additional permit. If the disabled spaces are unavailable, you may park in any Visitor, A or C permit space without purchasing an additional permit.
