Chuck Forsman

Chuck Forsman (b. 1944) is a painter, photographer and educator whose landscapes examine the complex and often destructive relationship between people and the natural environment. Forsman served in Vietnam as an illustrator and photographer before beginning a distinguished teaching career at the University of Colorado, Boulder (1971–2008). His publications include Arrested Rivers (1994), Western Rider (2003) and Lost in Vietnam (2019). He has received three National Endowment for the Arts grants and exhibited extensively, including at the Denver Art Museum.
