Parking Options and Costs
During the academic year, campus parking regulations are enforced from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and during special events. All lots are monitored by campus parking enforcement, so please be sure to follow posted signage; do not park in spaces restricted to specific vehicles/permits. We want to make your visit as convenient as possible and offer the parking options below:
- Purchase your daily visitor permit using the ParkMobile app, which you can download before your visit or by scanning the QR code from ParkMobile signs in Visitor Parking Lot 1 and the Gateway Parking Structure (located across from the Mondavi Center). Rates are $1.50 for 1 hour, $4.50 for 3 hours, and $10 daily.
- For non-smartphone users, parking is available by calling ParkMobile’s toll-free number: 877-727-5718.
- Or purchase your daily visitor permit for C Zone lots from the gray permit dispensers located at the entrances of the museum’s Visitor Parking Lot 1 and at the Gateway Garage parking structure. The dispensers accept Visa and Mastercard only; they do not accept cash.
- For more information, visit the UC Davis Campus Parking Guide webpage.
If your vehicle displays a disabled person’s placard/plate, you may park in any disabled space without purchasing a parking permit. Areas that are restricted to specific vehicles or permits (e.g. gated central campus, exempt vehicles, one hour A spaces, event reserved spaces, etc.) may require pre-authorization and purchase of an appropriate permit.
Ample bicycle racks are located on the west side of the museum as well as around Vanderhoef Quad on the north side of Old Davis Road.
Visit the UC Davis Transportation and Parking Services site for additional visitor information.
